What inspires Efrain?

I am a wanderer in awe of the beauty that surrounds me in Southern California. Every day, I marvel at the ocean’s embrace which is just a half-hour drive away, where the mountains stand tall and dust themselves with snow each winter, and where the deserts stretch out in warm, golden serenity. In this land of contrasts, I find endless joy and inspiration, a reminder of how life’s diversity mirrors the landscape itself.

The rhythm of my life is set by the places I traverse and the people I encounter. I am deeply inspired by those who contribute to society. Whether in the halls of science, the fields of art, or the endless realms of innovationto learn is to grow, and to grow is to drive humanity forward. It is the curious minds and the dreamers who light the path toward a brighter future.

I am proud citizen of the world, cherishing the freedoms and rights that allow me to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. With citizenship spanning both countries, I hold a world of experiences within my reach. From the ancient ruins of the Yucatan to the rugged coastlines of Maine, the road is my canvas, and every journey is a brushstroke painting the story of my life.

In this diverse corner called Southern California, I am constantly reminded that beauty lies not just in places but in the power of ideas, the courage to explore, and the endless pursuit of knowledge. This is my story, a tapestry woven with the threads of nature’s splendor, human progress, and the boundless freedom to be who I am.

«En perseguirme Mundo ¿qué interesas? ¿En qué te ofendo, cuando sólo intento poner bellezas en mi entendimiento y no mi entendimiento en las bellezas?»
— Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz

Ponder upon these words in Spanish, English, and Middle English.

Miguel Cabrera, Portrait of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz
Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”
— Dr. Seuss
True wealth is not measured in dollars but by the people who know the real you, accept you, and love on you through the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Whanne that April with his shoures sote
The droughte of March hath perced to the rote. And smale foules maken melodie,
That slepen alle night with open eye,
So priketh hem nature in hir corages;
Than longen folk to gon on pilgrimages.
— Geoffrey Chaucer, Canterbury Tales
